Real estate agents are of course hard to measure if you are not used to talking to this kind of people. If you are to sell a house, make sure that you have a control over your agent because they might just turn it in to his own personal leisure by setting up open houses that don’t even work. Another thing to remember is that real estate agents will not tell you everything you need to know, especially when there are offers already. They’d rather get someone that would benefit his commission rather than your own sake. If you are buying, always remember that all fees are always negotiable, even if your agent would make it sound like every price is final. Another important matter to remember is that your agent will only tell you the good side of things about the house. Make sure that you check everything yourself because they’ll not tell you anything about pests, flood problems and even faulty kitchen arrangements that could cost you a lot.
