Simple Organic Gardening Tips
Posted by admin under Gardening, Home Improvement, Landscaping
Since I have been talking a lot about eco-friendly stuff, I guess it would only fair to tell things about gardening and how we can have better situations for ourselves. You might want to have your very own organic garden and you start it by making a raised bed for your plants. The reason for this is that it makes the soil better than if it is purely grounded. It would also be nice to use planters and containers because there are a number of plants that can flourish better in them. One more advice that you must know is how to test your soil. Remember that if the acid and alkaline levels are high in your soil, plants will not prosper in to their full potential and some of them might even die. It would also be advisable to have a diary or journal of all that happened in your garden. Things like the date of planting, pests you encountered, enhancers that you have used would prove to be very useful.

Going Even Greener inside the House
Posted by admin under Home Improvement, Interior Design
Speaking of organic woods, it would probably be better as well if you could use them for your walls or even for interior design purposes. Making sure that you only use natural materials for your house can certainly be helpful for both the nature and for yourself as well. Keep in mind that volatile organic compound, which are usually present in almost all unnatural materials, are harmful for our health. As much as possible, see to it that all materials inside the house is safe for you, your children and even your pets from any destructive substances. There are also some types of paint that can help fight against nitrogen oxide, which would usually come from internal combustion engines. There are brands of paint out there right now that fight against the noxious fumes coming from our cars and other types of engines. Just see to it that you would always think about everything that you get for your house, similar to when you were still trying to buy it.
